BrainJams are really more of an idea than a specific sort of official event. It is an experience that happens to us often when we get together with someone and just hit the groove, riffing on each other's ideas in an ever expanding conversation.  That is what we are hoping to see more of in the world, and why we put together events which enable this sort of thing to happen for more people, more easily.

In addition to the day long events we have organized so far, BrainJams also happen at BarCamps, in the hallways of traditional conferences and in many other events that are neither camps or jams.  We would like for our community to include all the different people who give back to their communities by organizing and participating in Unconferences around the world where people share ideas, knowledge and insights.
